"Little Pad"

Yester-day, I listened to the two-albums-on-one-CD combination of Smiley Smile and Wild Honey again and had a realization about "Little Pad."

The lyrics are basically only three lines:

If I only had a little pad in Hawaii

Sure would like to have a little pad in Hawaii

By the sea, that's where I'll build a pad in Hawaii

Aside from "only," "little," and "Hawaii," all of the words in the lyrics consist of only one syllable.  This paucity (of lyrics and syllables) matches the small size in the title phrase.
